You will find that it wins by far (well apart from the unaffordable housing). The food is soooo cheap and soooo good. Eating out - ditto. Trains are clean and v. cheap. Shinkansen is great even just for fun. You will never get bored in Tokyo and there are fantastic surfing beaches 45 mins away. Get to Japan boy!
